Here the Annual Meeting 2001 of the VdH /8 IG (Verein der Heckflossenfreunde und Strich-Acht InteressenGemeinschaft) took place in October this year. Although the "Fintails" held a clear majority the spectrum covered MB-cars from the 170V over the "old S-class" and the "Stroke Eights" up to the W116. Among sightseeing by tram, a trip on an old Elbe steamer of the "White Fleet" and a rustic evening in "Robber's hut", the 160 km long rally around Dresden was another highlight of this eventful meeting which was organized by MB-Stammtisch Dresden headed by VdH-enthusiast Daniel Knetsch.
